Hunting Tips
Inexpensive Turkey Mount
Submitted By: Joe Antonacci

You do not have to spend a fortune to get a lifetime memory from your successful harvest. Enclosed is a photo of a turkey mount from the gobbler I harvested this spring season. Quaker Boy makes a nice mounting board, where you simply dry your tail fan and insert it into the wooden plaque. The beard attaches with a rubber grommet and hangs below. I added the feet w spurs showing, by using an empty 1/2 gallon cardboard milk container, placing both feet in and filling with Morton table salt. Once dried, I attached them with a length of 20# fishing line. Cool mount, very reasonable cost!
